A sales quotation is an offer specifying products or services, prices and commercial terms for a potential sale. It precedes a confirmed order and is not itself a receivable.
In Odoo
Odoo Sales creates quotations that can be sent to customers and confirmed into sales orders. CRM opportunities can link to quotations; an opportunity’s expected revenue and the quotation’s actual commercial lines serve different purposes.
