Who this is for
Your Odoo may have been developed, customized or changed by a previous team. You want to know whether it is configured correctly and supports the work your business needs to do.
Review your existing Odoo configuration, installed modules, custom developments and the way your team uses the system.
Review the processes and configuration available in your cloud environment. Custom-code review applies where custom code exists and can be made available.
Review Odoo settings, custom modules and the GitHub repository used for your developments.
What is included
We start by understanding what Odoo should do for your company. That gives the technical review a business context.
What does your company buy and sell? How are purchasing, sales, operations and accounting carried out? We identify the actual tasks Odoo needs to support and compare them with how work is done today.
We review installed standard and custom modules, their configuration and how the settings support your processes. We document how the system has been set up and where that setup does not match the business requirement.
Our developers examine the available custom code written by previous developers, review your GitHub repository and its configuration, and assess the technical correctness of the changes. Findings and their implications go into the report.
Alongside the settings and code review, we speak with the people who use Odoo. We assess their understanding of the relevant workflows and identify gaps in training or day-to-day use.
The deliverable
The report completes the free audit. It explains what we reviewed, what we found and what we recommend doing next. You can use it at your own discretion.
A record of the work carried out, the company’s processes and the tasks that Odoo is expected to support.
An overview of installed modules, customizations and relevant configuration, together with observations about how the team uses Odoo.
The issues identified in settings, custom modules, code and GitHub, plus gaps in the team’s preparation or understanding of Odoo.
Our recommendations for configuration changes, code work, training, upgrade preparation or support. You decide which actions to take and who should carry them out. Implementing those recommendations is a separate decision; it is not part of the free audit.
Start with a review
Tell us what is not working as expected. We will discuss your system and agree when the free audit can start.
Why request an audit?
Your team cannot keep consistent records, accounting data is fragmented or information needed for tax reporting is missing. We investigate whether configuration, incomplete use of Odoo or gaps in the process contribute to the problem.
Existing custom code can become harder to carry forward across versions. If you are worried that an upgrade will break something, an audit helps establish what is in place and what needs attention before the upgrade.
Explore Odoo upgradesWe need to understand what previous teams have built and how your system operates. The audit establishes the existing work, important constraints and the boundaries to agree for future support.
Explore Odoo supportYou may have no single incident to report, but still want to know whether your Odoo is configured correctly and whether your team is using it as intended.
Time, price and confidentiality
We commit to completing the audit and preparing your report within one week from the agreed start, once the confidentiality agreement has been signed and the required access has been provided. We agree the start and finish dates with you before work begins.
