Resource allocation assigns people or equipment to required work and time periods.

Resource allocation assigns people or equipment to required work and time periods. Availability, skills and competing commitments constrain what can be assigned.
In Odoo
Odoo Planning allocates shifts to human or material resources and can associate them with projects. Roles and working calendars guide assignment; assigning a task in Project does not by itself reserve a person’s entire working schedule.
