Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

A WBS hierarchically decomposes project scope into manageable deliverables or work packages. It describes the work to deliver, rather than only dates, people or a flat checklist.

Odoo Project tasks and sub-tasks are the closest standard representation for breaking down work. Parent-child tasks support assigned effort and progress tracking; a formal numbered WBS or a particular scope-control convention needs an explicit configuration.
