Resource Utilization

Resource utilization describes how much available resource capacity is actually used for a defined class of work. Billable utilization and total productive utilization use different numerators.

Odoo Planning shows allocated shifts, while Timesheets records actual project effort. These are the closest operational inputs; agree on available hours and included work before calculating utilization, rather than treating planned hours as actual productive hours.
