Order fulfilment executes a customer commitment by sourcing, preparing and delivering goods or providing services. Completing one warehouse step does not necessarily complete the whole order.
In Odoo
Odoo Sales and Inventory link orders to configured delivery transfers. Routes determine whether goods are sourced from stock, purchased, manufactured or dropshipped; service fulfilment can instead involve project tasks and timesheets.
