A manufacturing work order records the execution of a particular production operation for a manufacturing requirement. It identifies the resource, expected work and progress, rather than the entire product recipe.
In Odoo
Odoo generates work orders from BoM operations when Work Orders is enabled. Each operation specifies a work center, and Shop Floor records execution; the manufacturing order organizes the overall production quantity and component requirements.
