A manufacturing routing defines the ordered operations and resources required to make a product. It describes how work is performed, while the bill of materials describes required components.
In Odoo
Odoo defines manufacturing operations on the BoM, assigning work centers and expected durations. Work-order dependencies can enforce sequence where configured; inventory routes for stock supply are a different concept despite sharing the word route.
