Vendor master data is the reusable information identifying suppliers and their commercial and payment arrangements.

Vendor master data is the reusable information identifying suppliers and their commercial and payment arrangements. Accurate records reduce duplicate suppliers and incorrect purchasing or payment instructions.
In Odoo
Odoo uses contact records for vendors and vendor pricelists on products for supplier-specific prices and lead times. A supplier’s contact details and a product’s purchase conditions are related but distinct records.
