Accounts Receivable (AR)

Accounts receivable are amounts customers owe a business for recognized sales or invoices. They remain assets until collected, credited or otherwise adjusted.

Odoo posts customer invoices to receivable accounts and tracks residual amounts after payments or credits. Aged Receivable reporting and follow-up actions support collection; an opportunity or quotation is not yet an accounting receivable.
