Treasury Management
Treasury management coordinates cash, liquidity, funding, and financial exposures across the business and its legal entities.
Definition
In general ERP practice
Treasury management concerns the availability and movement of cash, the ability to meet obligations, and the management of funding and financial exposures. It connects payment planning with the company’s liquidity position.
In a group of companies, treasury processes may include cash visibility by entity and currency, payment authorization, internal funding, and forecasts of expected receipts and outflows.
In Odoo
Odoo accounting and payment records can provide inputs to treasury processes. A complete treasury workflow still depends on the company’s approval rules, bank connections, forecasting requirements, and legal-entity structure.
During evaluation, demonstrate the actual payment and cash-visibility process rather than treating an accounting balance as a complete treasury solution.
What to check in an ERP project
Liquidity
