A storage location identifies a defined place where stock is held or a logical position used to record movements. Locations can form a hierarchy inside a warehouse.
In Odoo
Odoo locations can represent bins, shelves and zones, as well as supplier, customer, transit or loss positions. Internal and virtual locations have different purposes; a warehouse represents the site, while a location describes a position in its stock flow.
