Product Return

A product return moves previously delivered goods back from a customer, or received goods back to a supplier. The stock movement and its financial credit or refund must be handled consistently.

Odoo uses reverse transfers for the physical return and credit notes for the financial correction where applicable. Returning stock does not automatically prove that cash was refunded; validate both the movement and the accounting settlement.
