Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

MRP derives time-phased component requirements from finished-product demand, bills of materials, existing stock and scheduled supply. It coordinates component procurement and production rather than merely listing ingredients.

Odoo Manufacturing expands BoM component needs and connects them to supply through configured routes and replenishment. MPS supports forecast-based planning; the app’s MRP label does not mean every product is automatically planned through one global demand calculation without setup.
