Setup time is the time needed to prepare a production resource for an operation, such as tooling or configuration.

Setup time is the time needed to prepare a production resource for an operation, such as tooling or configuration. It is distinct from the time spent processing each unit.
In Odoo
Odoo work-center configuration includes setup and cleanup time. These planning assumptions combine with operation duration and capacity; entering a setup allowance does not itself record the actual preparation performed by an operator.
