Picking

Picking selects the required goods from stock to satisfy a delivery or production requirement. The process should identify the right product, quantity, location and tracking identifier.

Odoo reserves and records stock for transfers, with removal strategies determining eligible stock selection. One-, two- and three-step routes place picking at different points; a reservation is not confirmation that an operator physically picked the goods.
