In common manufacturing practice, OEE combines availability, performance and quality to measure productive use of planned production time.

In common manufacturing practice, OEE combines availability, performance and quality to measure productive use of planned production time. The usual calculation is availability multiplied by performance multiplied by quality.
In Odoo
Odoo’s documented OEE instead measures fully productive work-center time as a percentage of active time. Productive time excludes downtime and work exceeding expected duration. This is not automatically the conventional three-factor OEE, especially its quality component; compare definitions before using the figures together.
