Inventory synchronization exchanges stock-related data between systems using an agreed meaning, identifier and timing. On-hand, reserved and saleable quantities are different values and should not be mixed.
In Odoo
Odoo Inventory maintains stock and forecast records; exchange with an external warehouse or commerce platform uses the relevant connector or configured integration. Imports can update supported records, but direct quantity replacement is not a substitute for recording stock movements and reconciling differences.
