Goods Receipt
A goods receipt records the arrival and acceptance of goods from a supplier or another source.

A goods receipt records the arrival and acceptance of goods from a supplier or another source. Received quantities may differ from ordered quantities and should retain the source document and tracking details.
In Odoo
Odoo receipt transfers record incoming goods, optionally through multiple steps. Validating actual quantities updates stock; vendor billing remains a separate step governed by the selected control policy.
